Drug and Alcohol Testing Services
Due to COVID-19, we are currently not performing any aerosol type of testing, which includes Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT).
The U.S. Department of Transportation is allowing BAT services to be suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in accordance with state or local mandates.
The following quotes and link were taken directly from the Department of Transportation website. We hope this helps address any concerns you may have. Our main concern is to keep you and your employees healthy and safe as well as regulated with the Department of Transportation.
Random Testing — You are required by 49 CFR 382.305(k) to ensure that the dates for administering random alcohol and controlled substances tests are spread reasonably throughout the calendar year. DOT guidance further recommends that you perform random selections and tests at least quarterly.
If, due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 national emergency, you are unable to perform random selections and tests sufficient to meet the random testing rate for a given testing period in order to achieve the required 50% rate for drug testing, and 10% for alcohol testing, you should make up the tests by the end of the year. You should document in writing the specific reasons why you were unable to conduct tests on drivers randomly selected, and any actions taken to locate an alternative.

Department of Transportation drug testing
Any employer who is required to meet the Department of Transportation guidelines is subject to drug and alcohol testing by a substance abuse administrator. Certified laboratories evaluate substance use and review laboratory results to ensure compliance and accuracy.

We offer eScreen for instant, digital results. With this service, you can schedule testings, track the donor's status in real-time and receive negative results in only 15 minutes.
Post-accident testing
Post-accident testing is performed immediately following an accident or injury that meets certain criteria within the policies established by the employer.
Post-offer testing
We perform drug testing prior to employment once an offer has been made to a prospective employee.
Reasonable suspicion testing
A drug or alcohol test can be performed when an employer suspects an employee may be under the influence based on observations commonly associated with substance abuse — such as change in an employee's appearance, behavior or speech.
